Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (CA)
Launch your career as a credentialed TK-6 teacher. For those already possessing a bachelor’s degree, this California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential is a 36-credit stand-alone post-baccalaureate certificate that meets requirements for teaching within the state of California.

LAPU’s Online Multiple Subject Teaching Credential program is approved by the California Commission for Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Program is CTC approved for paid Internship Pathway for student teaching (vs. unpaid student teaching)

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, Liberal Arts, or Elementary Education do NOT have to take the CSET Multiple Subjects exam to meet the subject-matter competence requirements for the credential.

Associate Degree Humanities
The A.A. in Humanities prepares you to achieve your goals by giving you a marketable education with a flexible framework. Serving as a stepping-stone into bachelor’s degrees, the 60-credit degree offers students a broad foundation in the liberal arts, integrating faith and knowledge.

Bachelor’s Liberal Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies program at LAPU is an innovative accelerated teaching degree program designed to help prospective elementary school and special education teachers complete their bachelor’s degree while gaining valuable subject matter preparation for a successful teaching career. The program equips experienced adult students, many of whom are working in classrooms as paraeducators, to draw upon their rich experiences in school settings.

Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies
The Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) is a flexible, interdisciplinary program designed for students who want a degree customized to their career goals, integrating diverse coursework and a final capstone project. The major offers students a flexible academic track to study multiple disciplines and craft a customized major. The BIS degree provides a solid foundation for those going on for graduate studies or pursuing professional careers in law, public administration, social sciences, education, business, healthcare administration, environmental studies, international relations, media and communications.
