The next commencement ceremony will take place in December of 2023 at the Felix Event Center on APU’s campus. Exact date and time are TBD.
Check in begins 1 hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
Each graduate will be allotted a certain number of tickets for friends and family. You will soon be notified of the ticket limit and how to reserve tickets. Stay tuned.
No, additional tickets may become available as students return any unused tickets and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. (4:15 p.m. for special assistance needs)
Most commencement ceremonies are approximately two hours, depending on the number of graduates.
There will be a reserved handicapped seating section, as well as a sign language interpreter for guests who are hearing impaired. Spanish transmitters will also be available. Please go to the Special Needs and Accommodations booth in front of the Felix Event Center for assistance. In some cases, guests who need special assistance may be seated 15 minutes prior to doors opening. If you have a question or request regarding a guest who may need other accommodations, please email accessibility@lapu.edu
No animals are allowed at the ceremony with the exception of service animals as defined in the Service Animal as a Disability Accommodation Policy.

Diploma cases, including a certificate, will be awarded at the commencement ceremony. The actual diplomas are mailed 8 weeks after degrees are posted. All owing balances to the university must be resolved to receive your diploma.
Degrees should post within three weeks after final grades and/or transcripts have been received.
Complete the online transcript request form to receive an official transcript. Please note: Be sure to review the transcript fees and policies to allow enough time to order transcripts to meet your needs.
