Professional Experience:

Public School US History Teacher and Elementary School Teacher. I have taught grades 1, 4, 5 and 7-12. Most of my career has been spent teaching US history to junior high school students.

My Passion:

My passion for teaching begins with my passion for learning. Reading about and visiting places I teach about creates in me a desire to share what I have learned and experienced with my students. Watching my students develop a deeper understanding of history and how it relates to their lives motivates me.

Hobbies:

Reading, volunteering as a sign language interpreter in the deaf community, and traveling.
