Los Angeles Pacific University encourages students to register to vote.

The information below will assist you in registering to vote in California. If you are not a California resident and would like to vote in your home state you can learn more here.

To support students who are studying abroad and learn more about military, overseas, and absentee voting, you can click here. This website also provides the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA), which allows students to register to vote and request an Absentee Ballot Request while abroad.

Voting Requirement

To vote, you must be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old at the time of the next election.

Voting Registration

As a college student you may register either in California using your college residential address or at home using your permanent home address. P.O. boxes are not permitted as your residential/home address. California registration forms are available online. Paper forms are also available at United States post offices, libraries, city hall, or department of motor vehicle offices.

Statewide Voter and Election Resources for California Residents

The deadline to register or re-register to vote for any election in California is 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 15th calendar day before that election.
