LAPU Update: COVID-19 Response

To do our part in efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus, and to protect the wellbeing of our employees, effective March 18th, Los Angeles Pacific University has moved to a remote workforce environment. The university is actively monitoring the recommended practices of health and safety officials, and will continue to keep the health of our faculty and staff a top priority.

Courses are continuing as scheduled, and we do not expect any changes to the student experience, nor disruptions to student services. We’ve developed our remote workforce plan and the technology needed to support it and are prepared to continue following this virtual service model for as long as it’s deemed necessary.

Students should feel free to stay in normal contact with their instructors, Success Coaches, and Support Central Specialists. As U.S. Postal Service remains active, we will be receiving and sending mail to and from students as necessary (e.g., transcripts, financial aid refund checks, etc.) Likewise, university vendors and partners should continue communicating with their primary contacts.

We pray for all those affected by the pandemic and for God’s protection and comfort during these trying times. We are grateful for our status as a fully online university and the ability to continue helping students advance their educational journeys.
