The General Information Systems concentration provides students with the opportunity to combine electives from Information Systems and related disciplines to customize their learning to meet their individual needs.

Information Security and Compliance

3 Units

This course introduces learners to the basics of information security in the workplace with an emphasis on the role of compliance with regulatory bodies. Compliance requirements in all areas of information technology continue to grow. Learners explore the analysis and design required to meet these evolving demands.

Four upper-division elective courses in Information Systems and/or a related discipline, approved by the assistant dean.
